Build in the early 1900's it was recently restored keeping its original character but only to add to its modern comfort. There are several cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Originally built to house trainers in the early days of Oaklawn, this chalet has witnessed as much history as any historic building in Hot Springs. In the times when this city was one of the largest gambling centers in the country second to Vegas in the 1920's and 30's and the first city of spring training for professional baseball.
