HOT SPRINGS NATIONAL PARK, Arkansas — The steaks have been eaten, the tacos gobbled, the food trucks visited, and diners have chosen their favorites in the 2021 edition of Hot Springs’ annual Feast Month celebration of all things related to food.

“Hot Springs is unique among cities our size,” said Bill Solleder, marketing director of Visit Hot Springs. “We have an astounding number of dining options, ranging from food trucks up to fine-dining Continental cuisine, and Feast Month invites people — residents and visitors alike — to get out during the month of November and sample this amazing resource.

“The diners then vote for their favorite places in a wide array of categories. The results are in, and there are some repeat winners and some surprise choices. We give a plaque and souvenir Feast Month aprons to the top choices. It’s a lot of fun competition, and a way to inspire folks to try something new among the spectrum of food available in Hot Springs.”

Matt Fuller, owner of top-choice in the steak category, 501 Prime, said, “501 Prime has been fortunate to navigate supply chain issues with [food supplier] Ben E. Keith to bring USDA Prime beef from The Creekstone Farms. Starting with the best beef and utilizing our mesquite wood-fired grill is the key to our ability to provide a great quality product. Thank you, Hot Springs, for giving us recognition in the Feast Month Visitors Choice Award."

“People just can’t believe the tremendous variety of dining experiences that we have here in Hot Springs,” Solleder said. “From barbecue to fine-dining Continental cuisine, the choices available in our city are unrivaled.

“So we have decided to devote the entire month of November to a celebration of that variety with our Second Annual Feast Month.”

Solleder said, “Hot Springs is a foodie destination. This small city has culinary delights no matter what you're hungry for: Tacos, burgers, sushi, pizza, barbecue, food trucks and more. Feast Month lets us celebrate all things food, from appetizers to desserts.”
