HOT SPRINGS NATIONAL PARK, Arkansas — A show on Lake Ouachita’s fishing opportunities filmed over three days in March will be broadcast multiple times next week on cable television’s Outdoor Channel (Resort Cable Channel 148).
“Fishing University,” a longtime favorite on the channel, will be broadcast on Tuesday [April 19] at 11:30 a.m. (CDT), Thursday at 5:30 a.m., Friday at 4:30 a.m and Saturday at 7:30 a.m.
The show, featuring Charlie Ingram and Ray Brazier, has been on the air for 30 years and is known as cable TV’s premier “how-to” fishing show.
“The crew was in town for three days and shot all three days on Lake Ouachita,” Visit Hot Springs CEO Steve Arrison said. “They also shot a segment with school kids at Trader Bill’s.
“It’s another nationwide shot of great publicity for the unrivaled fishing that we have on Lakes Hamilton, Ouachita and Catherine.
