Major Baseball Card Show Set for Baseball Weekend August 27; 50 Vendor Tables Will Be Available for Fans

HOT SPRINGS NATIONAL PARK, Arkansas — A major baseball card show with 50 vendor tables will be featured from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, August 27, as part of the 2022 Hot Springs Baseball Weekend.

“This is going to be a real treat for baseball-card collectors and those who just love baseball cards in general,” Visit Hot Springs CEO Steve Arrison said. “With 50 tables set up in the lobby of the Convention Center, there will be something to enjoy for everyone who loves this hobby.”

Michael Wallace, who is organizing the baseball card show, said vendors will be displaying sports cards, unopened wax sets, graded cards, vintage cards and baseball collectibles.

“Vendors will also be buying items at the show,” Wallace said.

Other features for the Fifth Annual Hot Springs Baseball Weekend include appearances by baseball legends Dale Murphy, Chris Chambliss, Goose Gossage and Al Hrabosky. The Arkansas premiere of the documentary film “Facing Nolan” will kick off the weekend on the evening of Friday, August 26, with a screening in Horner Hall of the Convention Center. All of the weekend events are free and open to the public.
