This 10-day festival will showcase the work of the arts community in Hot Springs while celebrating artists of all disciplines. This family-friendly event for all ages will include Cinderella: A Ballet, studio tours, sculpture walks, area chefs engaging in a friendly “Food Fight” competition, a live taping of NPR’s ‘Tales from the South,’ Dan Dunn’s Paintjam and MUCH MORE! Jack-N-Back Half Marathon

April 25th

Grab your running shoes and make sure you stretch! The Jack-n-Back Half Marathon “will challenge the most seasoned runners, relay teams and walkers with a 13.1 mile road race trek over Jack Mountain.”

4th Annual $86,000 Hot Springs Fishing Challenge2012 Fishing Challenge

May 1st - July 31st

You’ll want to load up your fishing license, rods, and lucky lures because lakes Catherine and Hamilton will be filled with some “golden” fish this spring.  Catch one of the sixty tagged fish for a chance to win up to $5,000.  Make history by being the first one to catch the elusive “Big Al,” worth $10,000.

Mystic Creatures at Garvan Woodland Gardens

May 8th – August 31st

The specially designed topiaries that captivated visitors in 2014 will return! From May 8 through August 31, Garvan Woodland Gardens will be inhabited by a mysterious menagerie of mystical creatures, including a 40-foot long Sea Serpent, 13-foot tall Sasquatch, Fairy Gourdmother playhouse, a family of Marching Mushrooms, a village of fairies, and a new majestic 20-foot wide "flaming" Phoenix.

Iconic, athletic, and more than a little silly – the 10th Annual Running of the Tubs is a delightful tradition for both participants and spectators.  Watch as costumed teams in decked-out bathtubs race down Historic Downtown Hot Springs to win one of the coveted trophies.  The event is free to the public and only $25 for teams to participate. 

2nd Annual Hot Springs Craft Beer Festival

May 30th 2015

After experiencing tremendous success in 2014, the Hot Springs Craft Beer Festival hosted by the Spa City Blues Society returns with even more blues, brews and food.  New this year: VIP passes offering holders early admission, commemorative drink ware and access to an exclusive selection of VIP-only beverages and food.  

Hot Springs Music Festival’s 20th Season

May 31st – June 13th

“As the second edition of The 100 Best Small Arts Towns in America noted, ‘the Hot Springs Music Festival has carved out a place on the nation’s classical music map.’” The festival, which pairs world class mentors with pre-professional apprentices, will feature a concert, open rehearsals and radio broadcast activities.

Hot Springs Concert Band Series

May 25th, 2015

Enjoy the magical sounds of the Hot Springs Concert Band at Whittington Park - attendees are encourage to bring their chairs, picnics and to relax in the shade while listening to musicians of all ages.  The event is free and put on my volunteers, however they do accept donations at the concerts if you want to show your gratitude.

The Muses Project: Guys and Dolls

June 12th – 19th

The Tony-award winning Broadway musical is headed to Hot Springs this June!  A non-profit arts organization, the Muses Creative Artistry Project is “committed to excellence, and believe that…high quality cultural experiences through live performance are crucial to a well-rounded and healthy community.”

There’s no better time of year to enjoy the scenic beauty of Hot Springs.  Riders are invited to rev up their engines and enjoy great entertainment and the opportunity to win prizes.
