Hotel Hale

Hot Springs's Hidden Gem: Former bathhouse, boutique hotel, and gorgeous restaurant. Find us on Bathhouse Row.

One of the hottest and most highly-rated hidden gems in Hot Springs, AR, Hotel Hale has the feel of a Bed & Breakfast all wrapped up in a hotel experience. With only nine individual suites—each equipped with a huge tub for soaking in the hot spring geothermal mineral water pumped directly into every room—you will receive amazing service and experience genuine hospitality that the South is so known for.

Hotel Hale, originally the Hale Bathhouse, is located on Bathhouse Row, nestled between Superior Bathhouse Brewery and the Maurice Bathhouse, placing it in the perfect location for visitors to explore Downtown Hot Springs.

The Hale Bathhouse is the oldest structure on Bathhouse Row (being built in 1892) and was leased and remodeled into a boutique, luxury hotel that opened its doors to guests May 2019. Much of the original foundation remains, such as brick walls, hardwood floors, and marble, while some modern updates have been introduced, creating a contemporary environment with a historic ambiance.

Every guest is welcomed with accommodating service from the hotel staff, fresh cookies made by the owner herself, and mineral spring water to drink. Guests will walk into a beautifully decorated and stylish room with a window view of either Central Avenue or the mountain-side behind the hotel—both of which are excellent—and massive soaking tubs that give guests the experience of bathing in the thermal waters without having to go to a bathhouse still in operation, although many guests love to experience those as well.

Hotel Hale also offers guests the option for the hotel to set up any appointments such as massage, spa, bathhouse, or salon for them, which guests find makes their time in Hot Springs more relaxing and stress-free.

The hotel is home to a beautiful restaurant, Eden, which features a living wall that gives guests the experience of enjoying their delicious meal surrounded by a fresh and flourishing garden underneath a heavenly skylight. Eden also has a full bar for guests to order their favorite cocktails, socialize, and relax. This is a great space, much like the rest of the hotel, to take beautiful photos to remember for years to come.

With so much personality and charm, who wouldn’t fall in love with such a lovely establishment?
