Johnson and Houser are longtime friends and co-writers. "This tour is about 50 combined years in the making," Houser said. "I've been playing on the road since I was 15. Jamey and I both have been picking these guitars as long as we've been able to hold 'em. This is a chance to show the rest of the world how far we've come."
Johnson, born July 14, 1975, in Montgomery, Ala., signed to BNA Records in 2005 and made his debut with his single, “The Dollar,” the title track to his 2006 album.
Johnson signed with Mercury Nashville Records in 2008 and released his second album, the gold-certified “That Lonesome Song.” This album has produced two more singles: the Top 10 hit, “In Color,” and "High Cost of Living."
In addition to writing most of his own material, Johnson has co-written singles for Trace Adkins, George Strait James Otto and Arkansas’ own Joe Nichols.
Randy Houser was born December 18, 1975, in Lake. Miss.
He signed with Universal South Records in 2008 and charted the single, “Anything Goes,” that year. The song, a Top 20 hit on the country singles charts, is the title track to his debut album, which has also produced a second Top 10 hit in "Boots On.”
Houser also co-wrote the singles “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” for Trace Adkins and "Back That Thing Up" for Justin Moore.
