Sports Themed Events in Hot Springs this Fall

The days may be getting shorter and cooler - but there are still plenty of opportunities to work up a sweat! Check out some of the great athletic events for you to attend (or even take part in)!

High School Academy Fishing Seminar

High School Fishing Academy Seminar

Three Arkansas fishing legends will present a free High School Fishing Academy seminar for high school fishing enthusiasts on October 28 at the Hot Springs Convention Center. Professional fishermen Mark Rose, Stephen Browning and Mark Davis will offer tips and techniques the night before the first-ever Arkansas High School Bassmaster High School Series tournament set to begin October 29  on Lake Hamilton.

AAA Volleyball Championships

High school teams in 3A, 4A, 5A, 6A and 7A divisions will square off in the final rounds at Bank of the Ozarks Arena. 

GAC VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
NOVEMBER 14-18
GAC Volleyball Championship

The tournament will be contested over a three-day period with an eight-team, single-elimination format.  Four first-round games will be contested on Thursday, semifinal matches on Friday evening, and the championship on Saturday afternoon.

Spa Running Festival

The Spa Running Festival is an event that has a race for everyone ..... kids, walkers, beginners to elite runners and those that like a challenge!  This year will be the 36th running of the Spa 10K and it has been selected by the Road Runners Club of America as the RRCA Southern Region 10K Championship Race.  The 5K is for both walkers and runners!  The 1K Squirt Race is for kids 2 - 10 years of age and so much fun to watch!

AAA State Spirit Championships

The Arkansas Activities Association State Spirit Championships are conducted to showcase the overall technical, athletic, and competitive readiness of Arkansas high school spirit teams while instilling the value of training, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
