AUGUST

FLW Championship on Lake OuachitaAugust 20-23 Forrest Wood Cup
The premier tournament fishing competition returns to Lake Ouachita! The FLW site has information available for registration and housing, so grab your license and get your reels ready!

August 22-23 Bass and BBQ Competition at Forrest Wood Cup Expo
You'll want to head over to the Hot Springs Convention Center as 30 teams from across the country cook up ribs and pulled pork as part of the Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned event. A $5 donation gives fans the opportunity to try delicious samples from participating teams.

SEPTEMBER

September 2-7 24th Annual Jazz Festival
From Sax in the Park to Jazz in the Streets, the Hot Springs Jazz Society will fill the Spa City with great tunes the first week of September!

Motorcycles in downtown Hot SpringsSeptember 10-12 Hot Springs Open Motorcycle Rally
The Hot Springs Rally is the largest motorcycle rally held annually in central Arkansas. This 3 day rally includes plenty of vendors, two poker runs with a chance to win $2,000, bike show, field events and bike games, a parade through historic downtown Hot Springs, and plenty of nationally known entertainment.

September 18-20 Hot Springs Blues and BBQ Festival
The Hot Springs Blues & BBQ Festival, presented by Budweiser, will be headlined by the Los Lonely Boys Saturday, Sept. 19 and Keb’ Mo’ Sunday, Sept. 20. The event, hosted jointly by Oaklawn and the Spa City Blues Society, will take place in Oaklawn’s infield and also feature some of the region’s best barbeque.

September 24-27
Maxwell Blade's Festival of Magic
The first ever Maxwell Blade’s Festival of Magic kicks off Sept. 24 and runs through Sept. 27 at Maxwell Blade’s Theatre of Magic and Comedy, located at 121 Central Ave., in downtown Hot Springs. While most of the shows will be held at the theater, Hot Springs COnvention Center will host several performances as will various venues throughout the city.

OCTOBER

October 2-4 5th Annual Hot Water Hills Music and Arts Festival
The Hot Water Hills Music & Arts Festival is an event, which has come to be known as a quirky mix of music, art, food, drink, contests and kids activities, is as appealing to hipsters as it is to hippies both with or without kids. 

October 2-4 47th Hot Springs Arts and Crafts Fair
Come visit us at the Garland County Fairgrounds, wear your comfy shoes and wend your way through 8 buildings and other areas to enjoy the atmosphere of beautiful artisan items and the wonderful smell and taste of concessions provided.

October 9-18 24th Annual Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival
The Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival is an Academy Award-qualifying festival, attended by documentary film lovers, filmmakers and noted special guests from around the world.This year the festival celebrates its 24th edition as the longest running, all-documentary festival in North America.

While Magic Springs stays open during the weekends after Labor Day, it gets extra spooky during the month of October! With haunted houses, trick-or-treating and rides for kids, the family will have a blast in the lead-up to Halloween!

November 21 The Spa Running Festival

The Spa Running Festival is a family-friendly event that takes you through beautiful downtown Hot Springs with its majestic bathhouse row complete with spas and rich history. The Spa 10K is the featured race and is part of the Grand Prix Racing Series, the 5K for both walkers and runners, the Squirt Race for kids 2 - 10 years of age and new this year, the inaugural Half Marathon that takes you up the winding road, through the mixed hardwoods and to the peak of West Mountain.
